FIRST PERIOD

Tonight’s game is now underway.

14:00: Neither team has registered a shot through the game's first six minutes.

12:51: Arcobello looked to have a clear breakaway to the net but Adam Pardy dove to swat the puck away from the Oilers centre.

12:28: First shot on goal is finally registered as Oilers send one in from a distance onto Jets netminder Ondrej Pavelec.

12:10: Coming back the other way, Ben Scrivens made a quick right pad save on Adam Lowry.

7:27: The Jets skated down on a two-on-one with Mathieu Perreault and Evander Kane. Instead of dishing to Kane, Perreault paused and waited for Jacob Trouba to catch up. He then dished it back to the Jets defenceman who wired a wrist shot high past Scrivens for the goal. | WPG 1, EDM 0



4:40: Shots are 4-4 through the first 15 minutes of the opening frame.

2:01: Off the rush, Justin Schultz skated into the Jets zone then dished the puck to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins at the top of the right circle. Nuge made no mistake, firing a wrister past Pavelec to knot the game up. | EDM 1, WPG 1

SECOND PERIOD

Period two has started.

12:30: Oilers open the period with a flourish, outshooting the Jets 4-1 but Winnipeg comes roaring back, particularly on a shift about seven minutes into the frame where they pepper Ben Scrivens with seven shots. 11:18: Scrivens makes an outstanding glove grab on Dustin Byfuglien's wrist shot from the slot.



8:39: Oilers call their 30-second timeout.

5:33: Shots are 19-15 Winnipeg with just over five minutes to play in the second.

1:40: Luke Gazdic drops the gloves with Anthony Peluso in a clash of two heavyweights. Gazdic landed the decisive blow after a lengthy bout.

1:03: Andrew Ladd gets two minutes for cross-checking, giving the Oilers the first power play of the game for either side. Mark Fayne started with the first power play unit on the left point.

THIRD PERIOD

Third period is now underway. Oilers announce Nikita Nikitin will not return to the game due to a back injury.

18:29: David Perron puts the Oilers in the lead, fighting off Pardy then dragging the puck into the slot before firing it home. | EDM 2, WPG 1



11:50: Oilers now hold a lead in shots, 22-21 over the Jets.

9:30: Nail Yakupov narrowly missed the net on a quick one-time attempt off the rush.

8:39: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins rang a shot off the post behind Pavelec.

5:41: Pavelec made a big pad stop off a Jordan Eberle quick shot from the slot to keep it a one-goal game.

3:06: Dustin Byfuglien redirected a point shot from Mark Stuart past Scrivens to get the Jets back on even terms late. | EDM 2, WPG 2
