FIRST PERIOD

20:00:
Tonight's game is now underway. 17:37: Seth Griffth has the puck hop over his stick after a cross-ice pass from Milan Lucic, ruining what would have been the best scoring chance in the game so far.

15:41: Marchand's redirect just narrowly misses the net and the Bruins pivot then nearly scores on the wraparound but that also misses the mark. Plenty of action but neither team with an official shot on net.

13:08: Jesse Joensuu is hauled down at the Bruins blueline by Dougie Hamilton, giving the Oilers the game's first power play.

11:40: Boston gets its first two shots of the game while shorthanded as the Oilers power play fails to register much.

10:16: The Bruins get a man advantage opportunity after Matt Hendricks is sent off for hooking.

6:03: Reilly Smith rang a shot off the crossbar behind Scrivens on a shot from the left circle.

5:26: David Krejci receives four minutes for high sticking Draisaitl, resulting in Edmonton's second man advantage of the evening.

5:11: Boyd Gordon gets his stick on the puck in front of the net and slides it just across the line before it's retrieved by Dougie Hamilton. It's ruled a goal and confirmed as such by the video review. | EDM 1, BOS 0

5:11: Oilers power play continues for another two minutes due to the double minor.

1:15: Boston gets back on even terms. Reilly Smith wrists a shot from the right circle past Scrivens. | EDM 1, BOS 1

0.0: Krejci takes a hooking penalty at the end of the period. Shots are 7-6 for the Oilers.

SECOND PERIOD

20:00:
Second period starts now.

18:00: Oilers are unable to get a shot during the power play.

16:11: Boston gets a man advantage of their own after Nikita Nikitin takes a hooking penalty.

14:39: The puck goes in, but it's after the whistle. Seth Griffth put the puck in on a rebound after Brad Marchand's shot. The whistle went well before, however.

12:25: Coach Eakins shakes up the lines. First, Perron skates out there with Yakupov and Arcobello and then Draisaitl with Pakarinen and Purcell.

9:48: Shots on goal midway through the game are 13-12 for Boston.

5:48: Line shuffling continues. Perron, Yakupov and Nugent-Hopkins take a shift followed by Eberle, Pouliot and Arcobello. However, it only lasts for one shift per line.

1:45: Scrivens slides across to make a nice stop and then smothers the puck after a Marchand shot hits the side of the net.

0.0: Shots after two periods were 20-18 for Edmonton. Tempers flare at the whistle but it's quickly broken up.

THIRD PERIOD

20:00:
The final frame is now underway.

18:16: Mark Arcobello swooped in and chipped the puck under the crossbar past Rask to put the Oilers back in front. | EDM 2, BOS 1

16:10: Edmonton gets back on the power play. Chris Kelly gets sent to the bin for holding up Boyd Gordon.

11:57: Boston again puts the puck in after the whistle. David Krejci digged the puck out after Seth Griffth took the initial shot. The referees ruled that Scrivens had smothered it.

10:20: The Bruins continue to attack and swarm he Oilers net.

8:56: Their perseverence pays off with the tying goal. Loui Eriksson picks up the puck in front and fires it past Scrivens. | BOS 2, EDM 2

8:02: Keith Aulie gets a penalty for holding the stick, sending the Bruins on the power play with a chance to move in front.

7:31: 30 seconds into the power play, the Bruins convert to take the lead. Patrice Bergeron makes a nice pass to Carl Soderberg in the slot. Soderberg makes no mistake, rifling the puck by Scrivens for the PP marker. | BOS 3, EDM 2

7:31: Nikitin takes a penalty on the scoring play, putting the Oilers down a man for another two minutes.

6:22: Boston extended its lead to 4-2. Dougie Hamilton wristed a shot from the left circle low that was tipped by Soderberg for his second of the game. | BOS 4, EDM 2

7.5: Bruins add an empty-netter. | BOS 5, EDM 2

0.0: Final shot count is 32-26 for the Bruins.
