16:23: Canucks netminder Eddie Lack made a nice save on Jordan Eberle, stretching out his left pad to deny the Oilers sniper as he tried to slip the puck in on the short side.

14:04: Anton Belov spots Ryan Smyth with a beautiful pass up ice to spring him on a breakaway. Smyth's initial shot was stopped by Lack but the rebound is pounced on by Belov and looks to cross the line but the official rules it no goal.

11:02: Mike Brown drops the gloves with Weise after the Canucks forward exits the penalty box. It's a quick bout with some fast punches thrown by Brown. Weise heads to the room for repairs afterward. Brown gets some retribution for Weise's elbow to the head of Hall a couple minutes earlier.
