Greene, Petersen named to Team USA

Edmonton Oilers defenceman Matt Greene and forward Toby Petersen have been named to the roster of Team USA for the 2007 World Men's Hockey Championship to be held in Moscow, Russia from April 27th to May 13th, 2007.

Greene and Petersen become the second and third Oilers to be officially named to their countrys respective teams for the world championship. Goaltender Dwayne Roloson was named to Team Canada on April 3rd.

Greene was a member of the United States national junior team at the 2003 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Halifax. He scored one assist and led Team USA with 34 penalty minutes in seven games as he helped the Americans to a fourth place finish.

Petersen is one of 11 players on Team USA who will be making their world championship debut in Moscow.
