EDMONTON, AB - The Saginaw Spirit are on McLeod nine.

Oilers prospect Ryan McLeod poked the puck through Guelph Storm captain Isaac Ratcliffe and snuck his quick wrist shot under the arm of Anthony Popovich 6:45 into overtime to provide the final action in Saturday's 4-3 win for the Saginaw Spirit in Game 2 of their OHL semifinal series.

The 19-year-old also added an assist on the opening goal, and has five goals and seven assists through 12 games this playoff campaign. Dmitri Samorukov was kept off the scoresheet, but continues to have a strong showing in the postseason with four goals and eight assists in 13 games from the blueline for the Storm.

The victory means the Spirit take a 2-0 advantage back to southwestern Ontario when the series resumes Monday in Guelph.
