EDMONTON, AB - The Big Ten may as well be called Planet Holloway.

Oilers 2020 first-round pick Dylan Holloway has been on fire in 2021, scoring 31 points in his last 14 games including both of Wisconsin's goals on Friday in their 2-1 overtime victory against Ohio State, followed by a goal and an assist on Saturday in a 7-0 rout over the same Buckeyes.

Holloway leads the NCAA in points per game among players who have suited up eight or more times this season with a remarkable 1.83 average. In addition to his 11 goals and 22 assists in 18 games, he's also won 58% of his faceoffs as one of the nation's top centremen.

The 14th-overall selection's shooting percentage is up to 17.9% this season from 9.5% as a freshman last year, and he's helped the Badgers climb to fifth in the national rankings.

Holloway is one of three Wisconsin players on the preliminary 2021 Hobey Baker Award ballot alongside Montreal Canadiens prospect Cole Caufield and Buffalo Sabres pick Linus Weissbach.
