The Providence netminder was named a 2019 Mike Richter Award semifinalist on Thursday, an honour that goes to the most outstanding goaltender in NCAA men's hockey.

The Oilers goalie prospect ended the 2018-19 campaign with a 21-9-5 record, seven shutouts as well as a 1.77 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.

"Looking back at the previous three years, the biggest thing I've been able to learn and take away each day has been the experience I've had playing in all types of situations," the senior, who reflected on his season to this week, said. "You learn a lot from the successes you've had, and even more from the mistakes you've made in the past."
