Maxim Denezhkin can snipe.

The Oilers 2019 seventh-round selection (193rd-overall) showed as much against Team AJHL at the Junior Club World Cup taking place in Sochi, Russia.

Denezhkin corralled a pass in the slot and wasted no time in ripping a wrist shot bar down on Spruce Grove Saints goaltender Matthew Davis, who ended the match with 57 saves on 60 shots.

Loko Yaroslavl - who were down 2-0 - completed the two-goal comeback to defeat Team AJHL 3-2.
