Fans beat Oilers alumni in Coca-Cola Ultimate Street Hockey

by Steve Taylor / Edmonton Oilers
On Saturday, Oilers fans battled Oilers alumni in a street hockey game in the Save-On Foods parking lot on Kingsway ave.

In a close game, the fans beat the Oilers alumni in a shootout, thanks in part to support coaching by Jarret Stoll and Marty Reasoner.  The team of young fans was captained by Jacob, Cameron and Kendra Kern.  The  Oilers Alumni team was comprised of Al Hamilton, Dave Hunter, Chris Joseph, Norm Lacombe and Cory Cross.

Hundreds of fans showed up to meet the players, take a spin on the Edmonton Oilers Fanboni, and test out their shot in the Slapshot Cage.

The Coca Cola Ultimate Street Hockey Game was presented by Coca-Cola, Save-On Foods and 630 CHED.
