Edmonton Oilers Hockey School Adds Another Week Of Class

Edmonton Oilers Hockey School is expanding for an additional week of classes due to overwhelming demand. Originally slated to run from July 27th – August 16th at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert, the doors to the summer hockey school will now open a week earlier on Sunday, July 20th to accommodate the many young minor hockey players interested in experiencing NHL caliber training. Two new ‘Learn To Play’ programs designed for young skaters between the ages of 5-7 will run from July 21st - 26th. As well two new sessions for skaters between the ages of 7-9 and 10-12 have been added.Edmonton Oilers Hockey School, run in conjunction with Okanagan Hockey Schools, features week-long sessions for young hockey players, both male and female, between the ages of 8-16. The program features comprehensive on-ice sessions, the newest off-ice training techniques, core strength exercises, and seminars ranging from motivation to nutrition. With both on-ice and dry land sessions, students will learn what it takes to be a pro, while also having fun. Plus, a few special guests will drop by the rink during the week, including Oilers players and coaches.

Edmonton Oilers Hockey School sold out last year, and is already 56% sold for the upcoming summer sessions.
