“Our charitable success is only made possible through the generosity of Oilers fans who support our team activities,” said Natalie Minckler, Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. “Our Board is honoured to provide these significant donations to these organizations who play an important role in making Oil Country a better place to live.”
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation was created in 2001 to further extend the Oilers legacy of giving back to its fans and communities. Since our inception, the EOCF has gifted over $10 million in financial and in-kind donations to charitable organizations in Oil Country. Each season the Foundation runs a variety of programs at Oilers games to raise funds which are distributed to local charitable organizations.
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is proud to have a dedicated group of community leaders on their Board of Directors. Board members include Sam Abouhassan, Linda Banister, Naseem Bashir, Michael Bobroff, Patrick LaForge, Carmen Loberg, Kevin Lowe, Zainul Mawji, Dave Mowat, Terry O’Flynn, Heidi Pisani, Doug Rutherford, Bruce Saville (Chair) and Natalie Minckler (Executive Director).
