Edmonton Oilers Assist David Thompson Health Region

The Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation are skating into Red Deer to help raise funds for the David Thompson Health Region Foundation with a unique ticket promotion.
On Sunday, December 9th, the David Thompson Health Region Foundation will make available 400 tickets to an Oilers home game against the Dallas Stars to help raise funds for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
“The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is very active in promoting health care initiatives throughout Oil Country,” said Darryl Lindenbach, Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. “This ticket drive is a creative way for the Oilers Community Foundation to work with residents of Red Deer and area to support a cause that has real meaning to them.”
“This is a great partnership that benefits both the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre and local hockey fans,” said Grant Edmonds, Chair of the DTHR Foundation. “The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation has helped us to create a really fun and unique way for Central Albertans contribute to the healthcare.”
Fans in Red Deer can purchase tickets for the December 18th Oilers game against the Dallas Stars at Bower Place Shopping Centre on Sunday, December 9th, at 11:00 a.m., with $25 from each ticket sold going to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
