Edmonton, AB – Once again the Edmonton Oilers will be going head to head with their teammates in the 2010 Skills Competition Powered by Reebok on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at noon. The 2010 Skills Competition will give the Oilers roster the chance to showcase their speed, skills and accuracy in the following competitions: Hardest Shot, Puck Control, Most Accurate Shot, King of the Shootout and the ever-popular 3 on 3.
Last year the Skills Competition sold out in advance to raise $60,000 for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) and local charities. For only $10 in advance and $12 at the door, Oilers fans can attend this year’s event while supporting the NHL Goals and Dreams Fund and the EOCF.
“This event is always a fan-favourite filled with Oilers devotees of all ages,” said Natalie Minckler, EOCF’s Executive Director.
“It’s a great way to support the team while also helping us to make a significant contribution to charitable organizations in our communities.”
The Edmonton Oilers are proud to welcome presenting sponsor Reebok, in addition to print and radio partners the Edmonton Sun, 630 CHED, iNews 880, Joe FM and CISN Country.
