The Board of Directors of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is pleased to announce Darryl Lindenbach as the new Executive Director, effective November 13, 2006.
"Im happy to welcome Darryl Lindenbach as the Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, and know that hell bring a lot of enthusiasm to the role," said Doug Goss, Board Chair of the EOCF. "Darryl has built many relationships in the community over the years, and will do a great job of carrying on the work that the Foundation does throughout Oil Country."
For the past 18 years, Darryl has gained valuable experience in the "not for profit" industry, where he has overseen successful marketing campaigns, event management, program creation and capital project fundraising for a number of well-known local companies. His executive level experience includes work with organizations such as the Fringe Theatre Society, Vic Juba Theatre, Odyssey Productions and Fort Edmonton Park. Darryls project management skills also played a key role in the Molson Canadian Heritage Classic, where he developed a number of downtown events, including the Coca-Cola Hockey Experience at City Hall.
Since 2001, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Oil Country through the support of a host of deserving organizations working in the areas of youth, education, health and wellness. Our goal is to gift no less than $1 million annually.
