BLOG: Yamamoto undergoes successful wrist surgery

The forward underwent successful wrist surgery and will begin rehab immediately to return for Oilers training camp in September

Forward Kailer Yamamoto will be sidelined for the remainder of the Bakersfield Condors season after undergoing successful wrist surgery.

The 20-year-old begins rehab immediately in order to be ready for the start of the 2019-20 season, beginning at Oilers training camp in September.

Yamamoto suited up for 17 games with the Oilers, recording his first NHL goal against the Boston Bruins on October 18. The Spokane, Washington product had 10 goals and eight assists in 27 games with the Condors in the AHL this campaign.
