Kailer Yamamoto continues to impress.
The Oilers first-round selection (22nd-overall) at the 2017 NHL Draft is competing in the World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, MI, and had two assists in USA White's 8-2 victory over Canada Red.
Yamamoto played alongside forwards Casey Mittelstadt (Buffalo Sabres) and Logan Brown (Ottawa Senators). Mittelstadt, chosen eighth-overall in June, registered two goals and two assists. Brown scored a pair of goals and added a helper, leaving the trio with nine points combined in the game.
Yamamoto recorded 42 goals, 57 assists and 99 points in 65 games last season with the Spokane Chiefs.
