Oilers top-line winger Taylor Hall left the game in the second period with a knee injury and did not return. The Oilers head coach provided a brief update on Hall after the game.
"I know it's his knee," said Dallas Eakins. "I don't know the severity of it. Our doctors will look at it and let us know. When a guy doesn't come back in the game, usually it's something that's going to be more than a day or two. But I have no idea right now."
Eakins liked the way his team stepped up when Hall went down.
"Some guys took on some extra minutes and they were able to handle it. And they were excited by it too. When a guy gets hurt like that, it's almost like they bond together."
