BLOG: The Oilers select Yamamoto 22nd overall

The Oilers selected Kailer Yamamoto 22nd overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Yamamoto led the WHL's Spokane Chiefs in scoring with 99 points in 65 games this past season.

The dynamic offensive threat stands at just 5-foot-8, but can score. The right winger had 42 goals in 2016-17.
