Stew MacDonald talks Rogers Place

by staff / Edmonton Oilers

Oilers Entertainment Group Chief Commercial Officer Stew MacDonald was on Oilers Now with Bob Stauffer Wednesday and addressed several topics pertaining to the Oilers and their new home, Rogers Place, which opens its doors in September.

Oilers fans would be interested to know the oil derrick, which players would skate through before opening faceoff at their previous home Rexall Place, has been retired and will not move to the new rink.

MacDonald did, however, confirm on 630 CHED that the former Rexall Place goal horn will make its way to Rogers Place.
