Coach Dave Tippett on the possibility of seeing Jesse Puljujarvi on the top line next game:

"We'll see where things go. We've got a couple of injury issues that we're looking at that might be a concern for tomorrow. Jesse's game has been good. He's playing a North American-style, he's competing hard in the corners, going to the front of the net. His game is moving in the right direction. We'll see where things go."

Tippett on wanting more production from players:

"It's certainly a concern. You want to get everybody up and going. We chart a lot of stuff with scoring chances and stuff like that. There are times where players are getting chances and it's not going in. You can keep them up that way. There are times when you wish there were getting scoring chances but they're not and you got to make some adjustments.
"Everybody wants to get on the board, especially early in the year. The new guys coming into a team, they want to show they're contributing. It's a bit of a concern. The last two games have been strong games and more like the way we want to play. Hopefully, some of the pucks will start going in for some of those guys."

Tippett on how the momentum shifted against the Maple Leafs:

"We were a little bit ragged in the second period. We turned over some pucks. First period I thought we were really strong, second period, a little bit ragged. They got a break. We have a chance to clear it, we don't clear it. Then (Devin Shore) Shoresy's helmet is on crooked and he was trying to put his helmet on straight. They hit a guy in the back of the foot and it goes in the net.
"That's one of those you have to deal with and overcome. We gave up some chances on the PK last night that were not like us. I'd rather see shots from outside rather than the middle. We'll make those adjustments and move forward."

Tippett on potential lineup changes for Sunday vs. Winnipeg:

"(Caleb Jones) Jonesy is available. We're looking at a couple of things, a couple of bumps and bruises. We'll see where the lineup goes tomorrow."

Tippett on getting defender Evan Bouchard into the lineup:

"He is still an option. He's working hard in practice. I give him credit there. We've got nine defencemen with Bouch. He's a good power play guy. Our power play has struggled a little bit, so we've had conversations about that.
"Whether we get into a situation where we play seven D and try to get him some minutes and get him up and running, we'll monitor that situation. He's a good, young player that when he gets his opportunity, I think he's going to jump in and take off. We just have to find him that opportunity."
