Oilers have activated Tobias Rieder from injured reserve and placed Kris Russell on IR

The Oilers announced on Thursday that Tobias Rieder was activated from injured reserve while Kris Russell was placed on IR.
Rieder skated on a line with Drake Caggiula and Ryan Spooner on the right side at morning skate on Thursday morning and it's expected that's where he'll play tonight when the Oilers take on the Jets.
Rieder has been out of the lineup for 12 games with his last appearance coming November 14 when the Oilers played Montreal at Rogers Place.
