EDMONTON, AB - Head Coach Todd McLellan provided an update on Oilers forward Ty Rattie on Saturday.

"Ty Rattie won't be playing tonight and he'll be out for a couple of weeks at least," said the bench boss ahead of the club's match against the Nashville Predators.

"Matt Benning is on IR, so he'll be out for a week for sure and Drake Caggiula is not ready to play," McLellan continued.

Rattie was limited to 7:14 of ice time and nine shifts total against the Bruins on Thursday.

"It was a muscle, a mid-body muscle," McLellan added. "I can't even tell you how it happened, it just happens and (Rattie) pulled something and he's hurt. So, he's going to need some time to recover and heal."

The Airdrie, AB, native has one goal and one assist in five games this season.
