BLOG: Oilers players meet

by Chris Wescott / Edmonton Oilers

Head Coach Dallas Eakins opened his post-game presser by apologizing to the media for the delay before the locker room was opened to the reporters and cameras.

The team, now 3-9-2 on the season, suffered a 4-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight. It sparked a meeting of the minds in the locker room after the game. Eakins said this:

"I want to apologize to you guys. I know the room was closed for a couple of extra minutes there. The players were having a fireside chat. I hope you all can respect that."
