The Edmonton Oilers have extended their affiliations with the ECHL's Wichita Thunder

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have extended their affiliation with the ECHL's Wichita Thunder through the 2018-19 season, the club announced Friday.
The Oilers will continue to be able to designate players and prospects signed to NHL and AHL contracts to Wichita, in addition to those on ECHL contracts (under agreement with the Thunder).
