The Oilers have assigned goaltender Laurent Brossoit from the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL) to the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL). The Barons then recalled G Chet Pickard.

The Oklahoma City Barons swapped goaltenders with the their ECHL affiliate in Bakersfield, Calif. Edmonton assigned goaltender Laurent Brossoit to Bakersfield, while the Barons recalled goaltender Chet Pickard on loan from Bakersfield.
Brossoit was acquired by the Oilers in a trade with the Calgary Flames on November 8 and was assigned to Oklahoma City. With the Barons, he has appeared in seven games.
Pickard was signed to an AHL contract by the Barons in early November and was assigned to Bakersfield where he’s appeared in 10 games. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native, has played professionally with Djurgardens IF in Stockholm, Sweden, with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL and the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. Pickard has 104 North American professional games on his resume with a 2.82 goals against average and .890 save percentage. His record stands at 38-46-9 in 5,700 minutes played.
Prior to his professional experience, the 6-2 Pickard played for the Tri-City Americans in the WHL for four seasons. Pickard was a first round selection, 18th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
