The Oklahoma City Barons, the Oilers American Hockey League affiliate, will make two appearances on Sportsnet 360 in Canada and NHL Network in the United States.
The Barons will appear on the network on Sunday February 23, at 2 p.m. MST when they play in Toronto against the Marlies.
They will make their second appearance on television on Sunday April 13, at Abbotsford. That game is also a 2 p.m. start time.
“It’s great exposure for our hockey club, players, as well as our staff,” Barons Head Coach Todd Nelson said in a press release. “Anytime you can be on national television is tremendous. It’s going to be great exposure for our team, and I’m pretty sure they will be fired up for those games.”
Oilers fans will be able to watch prospects on the OKC roster like Anton Lander, Oscar Klefbom, Tyler Pitlick, Martin Marincin and Travis Ewanyk.
