The Oilers have traded forward Mark Letestu to the Nashville Predators, in exchange for forward Pontus Aberg. The Predators then flipped Letestu to Columbus, in exchange for a 2018 fourth-round pick.
Aberg, 24, has played in 52 NHL games, scoring three goals and adding seven assists. In last year's playoffs, Aberg had two goals and three assists in 16 games.
The 5-foot-11, 196-pound, right-shot winger was taken in the second round, 37th overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft. He is a native of Stockholm, Sweden.
His best professional season came in 2016-17 with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League, where Aberg scored 31 goals in 56 games.
