EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers hit the ice at Downtown Community Arena for practice then held a media availability on Thursday.

Some noteworthy news from practice was that every player participated, including Riley Sheahan and Caleb Jones. Sheahan left last Saturday's Colby Cave Memorial Fund scrimmage and stayed sidelined for Tuesday's Battle of Alberta exhibition.

Jones, meanwhile, was "nicked up" as per Head Coach Dave Tippett, forcing Philip Broberg into the mix on Tuesday.

"We had everybody on the ice for practice today, which was a good sign," said Tippett.

Leon Draisaitl, Adam Larsson and Kris Russell were also made available to the media.

Just two days remain until the Oilers officially open the Stanley Cup Qualifiers with a best-of-five series against the Chicago Blackhawks. Puck drop for Game 1 is at 1:00 PM MT.
