Connor McDavid never ceases to amaze.
The Oilers Captain's second goal of the third period Wednesday against the Carolina Hurricanes serves as evidence.
Barrelling down on a 1-on-1 against Hurricanes defender Haydn Fleury, McDavid flipped the puck over the defenceman's blade, then batted it out of mid-air to put it past netminder Cam Ward.

It begs the question: does the 20-year-old's creativity still surprise Oilers Head Coach Todd McLellan?
"Yeah, he does," said McLellan. "It just goes to show how talented he is but I know that didn't happen by accident. Through some of his skill training in the summer and the things he does in his own training regimen, I'm sure he's done that a thousand times.
"He's worked on it and I guess last night was perfecting it. It's fun to watch."
The second goal was only 92 seconds apart from McDavid's first, which was scored shorthanded.
"That's why the people come to the rink, to see plays like that," said McLellan.
