How about a Hart Trophy?

Oilers Captain Connor McDavid was named the recipient of the Hart Trophy at the 2017 NHL Awards on Wednesday.

He received the Trophy from The Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky, a nine-time Hart Trophy winner.

"That meant so much," McDavid said about the exchange. "I don't even know how to explain how much that meant for him to be presenting the trophy. The guy who's won it more than any other player and probably the best player to ever play.

"It means so much."

McDavid earned the three accolades after only his second season in the NHL.

"I'm sure tonight when I put my head on the pillow and I go to sleep thinking about what happened tonight, then it will really sink in," said McDavid.
