Oilers 20-year-old rookie defenceman Oscar Klefbom had a good day. He moved up the depth chart to be paired with Justin Schultz, the Oilers beat the Anaheim Ducks and he scored his first National Hockey League goal.
It was a lot for the rookie to process and he says that he can’t really remember the goal when it happened.
“It’s a lot of emotions right now,” Klefbom said. “I don’t remember the goal even, it’s just like a blackout. It will take a little bit of time to sink in of course but it was very fun to do it tonight when we won a game like this too. It feels amazing.”
Klefbom played 16:40 tonight and finished the game with two shots on goal.
