EDMONTON, AB - During last year's Young Stars Classic in Penticton, defenceman Caleb Jones donned the 'A' as a leader in the dressing room and on the ice for the Oilers rookies.
On Sunday night, with a full year of professional experience from last season with the Bakersfield Condors under his belt, the 21-year-old blueliner put in a veteran performance for the Oilers Rookies with a goal and assist in a 7-3 loss to the Flames Rookies at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Frisco, TX, product showed his quality in the performance - one that impressed Bakersfield Head Coach Jay Woodcroft behind the bench Sunday night.
