Oilers centre Sam Gagner will play tonight after missing 13 game following surgery to mend a broken jaw suffered in the pre-season.
The forward says he doesn't know what his drop off will be when it comes to his game but the training staff and doctors did an excellent job of keeping his weight up and his recovery on track.
"It's hard to say," Gagner said when asked what he may be missing when he steps back on the ice. "I think you're always going to lose things when you're not able to eat what you can. I felt like I've done a good job of trying to maintain my weight and my strength and the training staff and the doctors have been unbelievable helping me out with that. I feel good, I feel ready to go and I wouldn't be playing if I didn't. I'm excited for tonight and looking forward to it."
