Condors netminder backstops Bakersfield to consecutive wins after making 67 saves on 68 shots over the weekend

EDMONTON, AB - Nick Ellis has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending October 22, 2017.

In the Condors' doubleheader against the Ontario Reign over the weekend, Ellis made 67 saves on 68 shots he faced, posting a shutout in Friday's 2-0 victory then following that up with a 35-save performance on Saturday to win 3-1.

The 23-year-old is 2-1-0 this season with a 1.35 goals-against average and .956 save percentage.
