Oilers defensive prospect Ethan Bear has been named the Canadian Hockey League Player of the Week. The Seattle Thunderbirds blueliner potted two goals and added five assists for seven points in two games.
Bear closed out the first round of the 2017 WHL Playoffs with a pair of multi-point outings. Seattle eliminated Tri-City in four games. In Game 3, Bear recorded a career-high five points, including two goals. Seattle won the game 9-2.
Seattle takes on Everett in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
