Once again, the Bakersfield Condors came back from a third-period deficit to defeat the Stockton Thunder, although this time it completed a comeback from being down 3-0 and the win resulted in a four games to one series victory.

Stockton scored the only goal in the first period and then had two more in the second to get a three-goal lead.

With 3:13 to go in the second, Joel Broda scored to narrow the gap to 3-1. Just over a minute later, Chase Schaber scored to make it a one-goal game.

Bakersfield tied it in the third as Ryan Watson scored 4:37 into the final frame to make it 3-3. Watson scored again two minutes later to give the Condors the lead and then completed the natural hat trick with an empty netter.

Laurent Brossoit stopped 17 of 20 shots he faced for the win.

Bakersfield now faces Alaska in the third round. The Aces are the ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames so it will be a Battle of Alberta of sorts.
