SWEDEN 4, FRANCE 2

The Swedes managed to survive a scare and defeat France 4-2 in their final game of the round robin to clinch second spot in Group A.

Oilers forward Anton Lander had two penalty minutes and Oilers defenceman Oscar Klefbom had two assists, including one on the opening goal scored by Jacob Josefson 11 minutes into the game to give the Swedes an early lead.

Two goals early in the second period by Damian Fleury moved France in front.

Fleury scored 34 seconds and 2:52 into period number two, giving France the surprising advantage.

The game would remain 2-1 for France until Filip Forsberg scored on the power play with 5:08 to play in the middle frame, tying the game at 2-2.

Forsberg scored again 52 seconds into the third to put the Swedes in front and less than three minutes later, Oliver Ekman-Larsson's goal made it 4-2.
