Mika Zibanejad, Lias Andersson and Sweden captured the country's second straight Gold Medal at the 2018 World Hockey Championships on Sunady, edging Switzerland, 3-2, in a shootout.
Zibanejad scored to tie the game in the second period of the Gold Medal game to give him six tallies and five assists in the tournament, as well as a plus-10 rating. Andersson had a goal and an assist in the tournament and was a plus-3.

Team USA beat Canada, 4-1, to take home the Bronze Medal. Chris Kreider scored twice and was named Team USA's player of the game.
Kreider posted four goals and six assists for 10 points and a plus-7 rating, while defenseman Neal Pionk registered two goals and an assist with a plus-7 rating.

Pavel Buchnevich finished with a goal and three assists for Russia, while netminder Igor Shesterkin had two wins to go along with a .941 SV% and a 1.46 GAA with two shutouts.
Forward Filip Chytil had a goal and an assist for the Czech Republic.
