Zach Parise to have arthroscopic surgery on knee @NHLdotcom

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - If things weren't bad enough, the struggling New Jersey Devils are going to be without Zach Parise for an undisclosed amount of time.

Devils president and general manager Lou Lamoriello says the left wing needs arthroscopic knee surgery.

Lamoriello did not say which knee is bothering Parise or when the surgery will be performed. He said the injury has been bothering him all season.

Parise was sent home to New Jersey after the Devils' 3-1 loss to the Kings in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Devils also announced that rookie center Jacob Josefson is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks because of a hand injury that will require surgery.
