Zach Boychuk gets four points as Lethbridge storms past Kelowna 9-4 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C. - Zach Boychuk had two goals and two assists for Lethbridge as the Hurricanes stormed past the Kelowna Rockets 9-4 in WHL action on Friday night.

Dwight King and Carter Bancks, with two goals each, Colton Sceviour, Mitch Fadden, and Dan Iwanski also scored for Lethbridge (33-15-2-3).

Fadden had a three-point night with two helpers while Boychuk now has 21 goals on the season and King 24.

Lucas Bloodoff, with two, Milan Kytnar and Dylan Hood replied for Kelowna (31-16-2-5), which suffered its biggest loss of the season and biggest home-ice loss since getting drilled 7-1 by the Brandon Wheat Kings on Oct. 28, 2006.

Torrie Jung took the loss for Kelowna and was pulled after Lethbridge made it 3-0 with its fourth shot of the game at 8:07 of the first period.

Kris Westblom stopped 14 of 20 shots in relief, while Michael Maniago made 29 saves for the Hurricanes, who closed out a five-game B.C. Division trip with a 4-1.
