Yogan tallies winner as the Spitfires hold on for a 4-3 win over Sarnia

SARNIA, Ont. - Andrew Yogan's third-period goal turned out to be the winner as the Windsor Spitfires held on for a 4-3 win over the Sarnia Sting.

Sarnia kept pace with the West Division-leading Spitfires (8-1-0-0) until Yogan put Windsor up by two goals at 9:16 of the third. Daniel Lombardi responded five minutes later, but it wasn't enough for the Sting (2-5-0-1).

Taylor Hall, Jacob Lalonde and Mark Cundari also scored for the Spitfires, while Matt Martin added a pair for Sarnia.

Andrew Engelage stopped 29 shots for Windsor.

Sarnia goaltender Matt Hache made 40 saves.
