Yellow Horn and Procyshen score twice as Tri-City hammers Kelowna @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-City Americans scored six goals in the second period - two each by Colton Yellow Horn and Taylor Procyshen - en route to a 6-1 Western Hockey League win over the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday night.

The Americans, on a five-game win streak and 12-1 at home this season, also got goals in the second by Jason Reese and Petr Stoklasa.

Tri-City goalie Chet Pickard finished with 30 saves as the Americans handed Kelowna its worst loss of the season.

Kyle St. Denis scored the Rockets' lone goal at 11:30 of the third period. It was Kelowna's first regulation loss in 12 games.
