Big E CBJ

It was just like a regular Columbus Blue Jackets game only bigger. Thanks to Big E.

WWE superstar Ettore "Big E" Ewen showed up at Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Big E, currently inactive while recovering from injury, is one of WWE's most popular stars both as a performer on "Smackdown" and as part of the decorated tag team "New Day" with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Before the game, Blue Jackets players foreshadowed a WWE kind of night by carrying in a championship belt in honor of the former WWE champion.

Later, Big E donned the home blue jersey and fired up the crowd with his signature unique mic style.

The Blue Jackets even renamed the Zamboni machine for the night.

Of course, always a man of the people, he met some fans on the councourse.

Big E was there to promote WWE's upcoming event at Schottenstein Center on April 21.
