Wudrick scores overtime winner as Swift Current beats Prince Albert 4-3

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Geordie Wudrick scored 27 seconds into overtime to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-3 win over the reeling Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday night in the Western Hockey League.

Trailing 3-1 after 40 minutes, the Broncos (17-12-0-1) roared back in the third period with goals from Dillon Wagner and Joel Rogers. Matt Tassone had the other Swift Current goal, while Derek Claffey and James Martin added two assists apiece.

Matt Robertson had a goal and an assist for the Raiders (13-20-1-0), who are winless in their past nine games (0-8-1-0). Jordan Hickmott and Jordan Rowley also scored, while Nathan Deck chipped in with a pair of assists.

Travis Yonkman's 32-save performance preserved the win for Swift Current.

Steven Stanford turned aside 20 shots in defeat for Prince Albert.
