With the preliminary round complete, all eight Predators players who made their way to the 2018 IIHF World Championship now have a shot at medaling in the tournament.
Many of the Preds participants at the World Championship have found themselves on the scoresheet in the short time they've been in Denmark, and all of them will face off on Thursday - many against one another - for a chance to advance to the semifinals.
Before we look ahead, a quick recap to this point.

Beginning on May 13, center Nick Bonino recorded two assists for Team USA in a 9-3 win over Norway, while Eeli Tolvanen tallied a goal in Finland's 3-2 loss to Germany.
On Tuesday, forward Kevin Fiala scored a goal and defenseman Roman Josi added an assist to help Switzerland to a 5-1 victory over France, while Tolvanen had a helper in Finland's 6-2 win over the United States.

Plus, defenseman Mattias Ekholm potted an insurance marker in Sweden's 3-1 win over Russia, but it was this move from Filip Forsberg that almost brought the house down.

Now, to the upcoming contests.
Four games on Thursday will feature all eight Preds participants, beginning with Kyle Turris and Team Canada facing Russia, as well as Bonino and Team USA taking on the Czech Republic. Later in the day, Forsberg, Ekholm, Viktor Arvidsson and the Swedes will face Latvia, while Josi, Fiala and the Swiss take on Tolvanen and the Finns.
Two of the four matchups on Thursday may be seen on the NHL Network, beginning with the United States and Czech Republic at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the Swedes and Latvia at 1 p.m. CT.
The winning teams in the quarterfinals will then face off on Saturday before the medal games come on Sunday.
At least one member of the Preds is guaranteed to advance, so stay tuned to NashvillePredators.com as the World Championship enters its final weekend.
