Education:George Mason University - B.S. Health, Fitness, and Recreation Resources with a concentration in Sport Management

Describe your job in 2-3 sentences: I coordinate events like staff meetings and the draft for the hockey ops department. Additionally, I serve as a conduit between hockey ops and the rest of the organization to handle things like budgeting, payroll, ticketing, etc. I'm also a main point of contact for the players' families.
Describe a moment where you proudly thought to yourself, "I can't believe this is my job!"
Getting to travel internationally for the first time, to Montreal of all places, for the 2022 Draft. I got my passport for the first time this year so I could attend. It was really amazing to see all these kids who will, hopefully, one day be NHL superstars.
What sports did you play, and enjoy most or least, growing up?
I played a lot of sports as a kid! The first would be cheerleading, but I participated in track and field for the longest, six years, I think. I did long, triple, and high jump and learned hurdles, too. I also dabbled in volleyball and football; I was a defensive end in the latter.
How did you get into hockey?
I went to Cornell University for my freshman year of college and their most popular sport was ice hockey. I wasn't very familiar with the sport at the time, but I had videography experience and got a job as a camera operator in athletic communications and worked as many hockey games as I could. I also sat next to the goalie in one of my classes and asked him a lot of questions.
