Wise scored in regulation and shootout to lead the Majors over the Wolves 2-1 @NHLdotcom

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Jamie Wise scored the game winning goal in a shootout and added another in regulation to lead the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors to a 2-1 victory over the Sudbury Wolves on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Wise was the only scorer for Mississauga (16-15-4) in the shootout.

Michael Sgarbosa scored the lone goal for Sudbury (17-12-2).

J.P. Anderson stopped 24 shots for the win and denied Mathew Campagna, Andrey Kuchin and Josh Leivo in the shootout while Joel Vienneau finished with 26 saves in the loss.

Mississauga failed to score on eight power-play opportunities as Sudbury went 0 for-4.

Heading into the Christmas break, these two clubs are tied for last spot in the Central Division with 36 points apiece.

Since 2007-08, the Majors have gone 25-3-0 against the Wolves.
