Winterhawks hand the Raiders their first regulation-time loss of the year @NHLdotcom

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Ty Rattie and Derrick Pouliot each had a goal and an assist as the Portland Winterhawks defeated the host Prince Albert Raiders 5-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Taylor Leier, Seth Jones and Adam De Champlain also scored for the Winterhawks (6-3-1) and Tyler Wotherspoon and Nicolas Petan chipped in with two assists apiece.

Davis Vandane and Dakota Conroy scored for the Raiders (7-1-1), who lost in regulation time for the first time this season.

Mac Carruth made 26 saves for the win as Luke Siemens turned away 35 shots in a losing effort.

Neither club could produce on the power play as Portland went 0-for-4 and Prince Albert 0-for-5.
