Winquist scored the winner in OT as the Silvertips beat the Chiefs 4-3 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Joshua Winquist scored the winner in overtime as the Everett Silvertips overcame a three-goal deficit to beat the Spokane Chiefs 4-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Ryan Murray, Josh Birkholz and Kohl Bauml each scored in the final 10 minutes of the third period to tie the game for the Silvertips (8-26-8).

Davis Vandane, Dylan Walchuk and Darren Kramer each scored for the Chiefs (21-13-6), who had their winning streak halted at four games.

Austin Lotz made 37 saves for the win while Eric Williams stopped 26 shots in defeat.

Everett went 2 for 2 on the power play as Spokane failed to score on four opportunities with the man advantage.
