      Morrissey suspended one game for cross-checking

      NEW YORK - Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey has been suspended for one game for cross-checking Minnesota Wild forward Eric Staal during Game 4 of the teams' First Round series in Minnesota on Tuesday, April 17, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

      The incident occurred at 16:38 of the first period.
